We will confirm your cleaning day once your booking is confirmed, you will also receive a reminder email the day before the bin clean.

So can I take in my bins on bin day?

Accepted Answer

By all means bring your bins in from the boundary, but if you could leave them where we can see them and we will relocate them for you afterwards.

Can I put rubbish in the bin after it has been emptied, but before you clean it?

We would ask that you do not put any rubbish in the bin before we clean it.

What happens if my clean falls in a Bank Holiday week?

When is payment due?

Accepted Answer

Payment is due after your wheelie bin is cleaned. Please note that we will continue cleaning your bins on a 4 weekly basis unless you inform us that you wish to cancel our services.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made by cash on completion of the clean or our preferred method on our subscription scheme by Direct Debit which is collected securely through Go Cardless only after the bin is cleaned, if for any reason your bin isn't cleaned on its due day no payment will be collected until after its next clean.

What happens to my bin once it’s been cleaned?

Accepted Answer

After cleaning, your bin will be relocated to its specified location or left on your boundary. We place a Bin Cleaning North East sticker on you bin after the initial clean, so it is easily identified to you and us.

How will I know that my bin’s been cleaned?

Accepted Answer

It will smell fresh, look clean and it will have been replaced to your specified location. You will also receive a bin cleaned email to notify you payment will be collected through the Direct Debit.

Do I need to be there while my bin is being cleaned?

No you don’t just make sure your bin is left somewhere that we can see it.

Question 11

What happens if the council have not emptied my bin?

Accepted Answer

Our cleaner will make a note and we will update our office record accordingly. No payment will be collected.

Question 12

How do I know how many times my bin has been cleaned?

We keep detailed computerised records of the amount of cleans used, if you have a query at any time please email or call us and we will be only to glad to give you that information.

I’ve come home and my bin hasn’t been cleaned?

Of course we will always endeavour to clean your bin on the day stated. However, if for any reason the bin has not been emptied, you have placed more rubbish in the bin or the bin was not available that does make our job a little difficult. Please contact us and we will discuss other arrangements with you.

What happens during Christmas/New Year?

We close for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. On commencement of our service, scheduled cleaning dates are confirmed to our customers in an email.

When does my contract end?

If you have booked regular bin cleaning payment will be taking on completion, If you do not wish to continue with our service, please confirm by email to info@bincleannortheast.co.uk (info@bincleannortheast.co.uk)or by calling our office.

Can I put out a different bin for cleaning?

Accepted Answer

No, we will clean the bin you have booked to be cleaned, however one-off cleans are available.  Please contact us to book.
